Nice unit – a bit like the A8 in many respects, both lacking NFC but supporting USB OTG and IEC 61960 standard, here’s the AU/NZ version, funny Samsung doesn’t list the A7 on the US page at all. Scrolling down the bottom of that AU/NZ page see the unreadble text. It actually copies to clipboard as readable text with stuff like:
*Display Size: Measured diagonally as a full rectangle without accounting for the rounded corners. Actual viewable area is less due to the rounded corners
Kind of figured that. 😛
Apparently it’s the opinion of some that these models are slow – the A8 isn’t too bad loading up pages over here, the benchmark comparison assumes yours is 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Mine is 4/128 – amazingly only one point better than if set to 3/32. Optimising helps a bit, as does laboriously going through and disabling stuff and clearing caches etc. – it’s also possible to disable Bixby. One could wish for Knox to be throttled during heavy page loads- not happening any time soon. 🙁
Do use the Google search still, the age old issue of the Google Discover tab buttons continues unabated. 🙁
