Green light granted by Nimrod! How the best to proceed, created a fork like this, or stay with the original?

Only 38 comments on that post? Blogs are definitely becoming less popular, I see 🙁
Thanks! Now if we can figure out how to disable it for Bing. May be a toggle, haven’t looked yet 🙂
Someone needs to license the character as their betel nut mascot 😛

Started on the Dalton films yesterday with The Living Daylights. Really enjoyed the more serious tone. Some of the critics complain about the lack of humor but there was plenty! Bit of a shame that Dalton only did two films.

Never had a C++ course (learned on my own) or used virtual functions before so I’ll need to brush up on them before they go on the list
I suspect most of the macro issues will vanish once the code is changed so that it’s no longer being generated. I don’t even know what the generated commands tell it to make
This could be a useful utility to…[Read more]

Yeah, style, warnings, the virtual functions in base class, function in derived class etc.

Any luck with reaching Nimrod?
In the meantime, I went ahead and ran the repository through cppcheck using the following options:
cppcheck --enable=all --platform=win64 common Windows esm IL File project
As expected, there are lots of messages about the use of the virtual bits. The log is surprisingly sparse otherwise. Here’s the full log.Other…[Read more]

Oh, was thinking a browser would have a policy of showing a search engine’s search results, but not the AI blurb as default. In any case, it can be turned of by plugins or this:

What about him popping up in an ad for sarsaparilla, or even better, betel nut beer? 😛

According to this post, you can! You need to activate it in the settings on the old Reddit site, though. Weird 😛
The new update is gorgeous! Sure, we have giant planets all next door and smaller ones that haven’t been captured as moons. Not exactly accurate in terms of astrophysics but that’s okay!
In related news, X4: Foundations is currently…[Read more]

Sadly, it’s all opt-out if they even let you. Really getting tired of forced AI content on the web 🙁
It’s not really the browser, it’s on Google’s search results. Bing has similar issues. When I typed in Beetlejuice just now on Bing, one of the suggested search results called it an “American Actor” instead of a film. Ugh.
I smelled and saw a…[Read more]

They should really provide an option to hide the AI, or at least put it at the bottom of the page, if it gets any worse, then another browser is definitely on the table.

I think part of it is that people are beginning to realize how far AI has to go. I have a lot of issues with it myself. Since Google added AI summaries to the search results page, I’ve been having more issues finding what I need. I find that the summaries are worded in strange ways that I find difficult to understand, or even inaccurate, and find…[Read more]

Somewhat related but I still haven’t flipped the setting for HDR in my monitor’s setting menu (not the Windows one but the one built in to the monitor). Honestly not sure if I’ll ever get around to it

Wonder if there’s the ability to run oldReddit on a premium account, for no other purpose than requiring the devs to maintain, tease and cajole it into a new shape of old! 😛

Old is unbalanced, with an intriguing predicament for its leads. Even though not recommended for the list, it should be watched for the ideas, and the ways they could have better formed the movie. Running past full time, yet the myriad of unanswered questions at the end makes it incomplete, while a lot of stuff can be edited out. Fun fact, it’s…[Read more]

Yeah, Windows is hit or miss with regards to obeying the driver update settings. Though, the policy setting is almost always obeyed. It’d be less annoying if WU would actually update intelligently instead of “updating” a user installed driver to an older version in the WU Update Catalogue 😛
