  • By California law, any product that could contain anything on the P65 list is required to list it on the packaging as well, even if the substance is used in a way that it won’t actually harm you. EE doesn’t really need to list it at the bottom of the site as it’s the burden of the packagers but it does help raise awareness. 🙂

    Good set! May need…[Read more]

  • The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith leads us to this Wikipedia page. Interestingly, I’ve seen several on that list. Not sure why Night of the Living Dead was censored when it was a pretty tame zombie film. Most of the others I can understand. It’s odd that there aren’t more Troma films other than Mother’s Day on the list. Bit surprised, really.

  • Showcase items for any record bar. 🙂

    Hot off the truck

The back of the truck would twitch a few nostrils. 😛 Great idea with the P65 warnings – is that passed on by the manufacturers I wonder?

  • Definitely a while as each episode is 24 minutes long, AI tells us more than 5.5 days of continuous viewing!
Revenge was on Tubi, could have seen bits of it before on FTA, not hot on the dialogue but great if learning French. The critics thought it was a bit “tropy”, thought so here as well. Nice, but a single viewing was enough.

  • Most of those aren’t available at the moment here but I’ll keep an eye out for them!

Am enjoying Fairy Tail even if it’s not as complex as Black Clover. Definitely fun, just doesn’t have nearly the depth. Of course, it’s several hundred episodes longer so it’ll definitely entertain me for a while 😛

The bus shelters seem to do okay with folks respecting them, for the most part. Wouldn’t be too concerned about the panels as they’d be on the roof. Even if the panels are deemed too expensive, at least give me a roof!

The testing of the die rolling has some interesting suggestions in the video.
Agreed, the main issues would be upkeep and vandalism, neanderpoids breaking stuff to prove a point which isn’t lost on the rest of us.
A Disney retirement, there’s some nice features, but is it Disney enough?

Been saying this for years: we should put a roof over all walkways. Not only would it help keep us dry on the sidewalks, it would also help with the heat. And, while we’re at it, let’s slap some solar panels on top that feed back in to the power grid along with fans to help circulate air, helping even more during the warm season. I’m tired of…[Read more]

🙁 What I’d do is have a chat (preferably face to face) with someone at HoA as it sounds like the crew are being specifically asked to do it. Try to investigate the reasoning for such an action, and why so soon.
Some good ideas there. Do have barriers, obviously nowhere nearly good enough. The human hair idea isn’t bad either in an area sheltered…[Read more]

Not fixed. Despite being told not to mess with area and the new sign, they killed off the brand new ground cover. I’m not happy. I’ve sent a pretty annoyed email to the HoA telling them to get this resolved before the erosion starts causing my driveway and building to collapse. I’m close to demanding compensation. No way should I be paying for…[Read more]

Jaws and Superman soundtracks? Could be fun!

  • btw the real teaser in the A Boy and His Dog is the dog gone AWOL (taken prisoner) in the middle of the movie without later clues or mentions until he turns up all of a sudden. The re-appearance was a great relief!

What happens when you slap a rocket engine onto a pod? You get a Goblin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_XF-85_Goblin

That would’ve been terrifying to pilot!

  • Finally picked up Interstellar on 4k disc and it was spectacular!

I just finished removing all of the unnecessary parentheses and void parameters. I also think I finished fixing up all of the whitespace changes I missed before. Gone ahead and pushed everything up and they pass the CI

Yeah, I’ll plan on looking at the loops and other things that work with them and see how it’s all handled. It’ll be easier once more of the reorganization is done as we’ll have a better handle on what uses them.

Nope, never used a Lian Li case before but they’ve always been on my wishlist to try. Really wanted to try out one of their cube cases as I liked the aesthetic. Maybe one day I’ll get one! Not too hard to find around here, even camera shops like Adorama sell them interestingly enough.

Silverstone also has some good looking cases.

I think it may have been the small sign the HoA used as it was just an index card. They said they talked to them the other day and I put in my larger sign so hopefully that fixes the problem. We’re at the tail end of the growing season though so it’ll take a while for the new stuff to do its thing
