Ugh. That’s going to make it harder to track down common issues and fixes, especially for those without a Discord account. Discord does have a threads feature but it’s mostly an afterthought and the interface is extremely cludgy. It’s good for chats but not much else, really.

Funny how everything is going to Discord. Why don’t they make everything Discord anyhow – a Discord browwer, Discord OS, Discord apparel, watches, jewellery and other paraphernalia, Discord car – or even – a Discord government? Yeah, Windows has always been slow to get everything up to speed, even on a fresh install with an SSD. I’m assuming Windows is installed on the HDD? The SSD will definitely boot faster than the HDD if you want to go that route. Would mean moving the install, though, which can be a bit of a pain

Yeah, OpenMW is a must. Just run Morrowind from a Network drive to get no mouse at the options menu, and a big buzz out of the speakers. A cold start is the only way out of the system freeze which is missed entirely in the event log. 🙁

There’s a long wait before svchost.exe frees up other processes on the Ryzen, so boosted it a little with the help of this from W10 forums. The value in the registry setting for SvcHostSplitThresholdInKB was increased from the 380000 default to 600000 (6GB) RAM. Not the full 8gb as other process won’t get a look-in. 😛

Funny they are not wont to provide a list of “safe” hit counter sites, or even provide a safe hit counter themselves for sandbox purposes, which can be optionally blocked by their own software. A couple of bucks for each use could even got towards the upkeep of their site. They also block Google Analytics by default apparently.

I’m not sure Ballad of Champions made it out of Japan, which could explain its limited availability. Really need to get more records. Our local record stores focus more on genres that don’t interest me, such as R&B and new age rock. I just haven’t spent much time looking online yet. Just not a big fan of online shopping 😛
