They need a name! Very interesting – wonder if there is a pattern to the variation in learning if using a different number – 50,000 or 500,000 for example.
Only recently picked up on the Carlsen–Niemann controversy huh – what’s the difference between “no determinative evidence” and no … evidence? Carsen was out of order, and whether or not Niemann actually cheated, he would have been well advised not to admit to cheating in previous online games in the first place.
Could it be our own chess abilities would soar astronomically when aided by a few thousand wired-in neurons on microelectrode? The task then is to convince Carsen et al our newly found amazing abilities are from stint and study alone. 😛
